RuleSets

RuleSets are collections of Rules grouped together to form a complete policy. Instead of managing thousands of individual rules, you assign RuleSets to your Flows.

Aggregation Logic​

When a RuleSet is evaluated, the engine aggregates the results of all triggered rules.

Score Strategy​

Determines how the final score is calculated:

  • SUM: Adds up the impact of all triggered rules (e.g., +10 +20 = 30).
  • MAX: Takes the highest single impact (e.g., max(10, 20) = 20).

Blocking Strategy​

Determines when to stop and reject:

  • ANY: If any blocking rule is triggered, the session is blocked.
  • CRITICAL_ONLY: Only blocks if a High Severity rule is triggered.

Assignment​

RuleSets are attached to Flows.

  • A single Flow can have multiple RuleSets (e.g., "Basic ID Checks" + "Anti-Fraud Advanced").
  • You can assign different Weights to each RuleSet to balance their influence on the final score.

Simulation​

You can simulate RuleSets against historical data in the Dashboard to tune your policies before deploying them to production.
